Privacy Policy

What LostLink collects, who can see it, and why.

What we collect

Your full name, your DLSAU email, and the item details you report (including photos you choose to upload). We do not collect phone numbers or any contact information beyond your school email.

Who can see it

  • Approved listings show the item only. Reporter and claimant emails are never shown to other users.
  • Your reports and claims are visible only to you and to the security office admins.
  • Photos of IDs and Cards are hidden from the public listing. Only admins see the real photo.

Why we use it

To run the campus lost and found service: matching owners with found items and letting the security office verify claims. Your account is tied to your DLSAU email so claims are not anonymous. We do not use your data for anything else.

Storage and access

Data is stored on Supabase with row-level security, so each account can only read what it is allowed to read. Access is limited to the LostLink service and the security office admins.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), you may request a copy or correction of your data, or ask for your account to be removed. Visit the security office to make a request.

About LostLink
